Family Ceramics Workshop: Handbuilding & Wheel Throwing

Overview

Making art with your family creates more than a magical experience—the pieces you make together become lasting reminders of the time you shared.

Join us at Clay Space Studio for a creative morning of handbuilding and wheel throwing. Each participant will make one handbuilt ceramic piece and one piece on the pottery wheel, with guidance from our instructors.

This is an all-ages, mixed-age workshop. Bring your children, parents, grandparents or other loved ones and enjoy making something meaningful together. No previous pottery experience is required.

What You’ll Make

Each participant will create:

• One handbuilt ceramic piece
  One ceramic piece on the pottery wheel

Come spend a creative morning together and make lasting family memories in clay. Space is limited, so reserve your spots early!

Important note for families with toddlers & preshcoolers (ages 0–7):
We do not recommend clay play for children who are still in the phase of putting everything they can grab into their mouths (this usually tapers off around age 3). Once past that stage, clay offers many wonderful developmental benefits.
For toddlers, we’ll set up a simple guided play experience so they can safely explore the material, but please note that we do not recommend keeping these pieces as finished projects.
Please note that all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult throughout the workshop. Children’s tickets are only valid when purchased alongside an adult ticket.
We reserve the right to cancel or adjust bookings that do not meet this requirement.
